Problem
A coconut tree planted on the roof of a building shown in the figure. The lowest coconut is 3 m of height at rest from the roof, then falls.
Find
(a) gravitational potential energy (PE) on its initial position
(b) kinetics energi (KE) of coconut before reaching the ground
(c) kinetics energy (KE) of coconut when passing the 2nd floor
(d) the ratio of gravitational potential energy (PE) to the kinetic energy (KE) of the coconut when it passes through the 2nd floor!
Use the acceleration due to gravity g = 10 m/s2 and coconut mass is 2 kg.
